More Life United Pentecostal Church

I am married to William Sullivan.  We have a beautiful daughter, Nara.  I was raised in  Holiness/Church of God.  I first got saved when I was about 17 years old.. 

But being young, I had to learn a few things on my own.  I went into the Army right out of high school where church was the furthest thing from my mind.  I got out summer of 1999.  Feb 2000 I gave my heart to the Lord.  It 's a night I will never forget.  I wished I could say I've lived the perfect Christian life since then, but I haven't.  I have slipped & fallen along the way, but I have always picked myself up & tried to keep going.. 

We moved to Mobile about 6 years ago.  I have had the hardest time finding a church not only I was comfortable in but my family as well.  To make a long story short, I have attended a couple different churches from the Bayou to Semmes, liked them all for different reasons, but there's always been something missing. 

I am so happy I was invited to More Life..  I have finally found MY HOME..  My family may not be on board at the moment, but I have to place them in God's hands.  I've learned that they are not going to be happy regardless of which church I attend..  So instead of trying to please them, I have to please the Lord & go where I am happy, where I am fed the TRUTH, & where I can feel the Spirit of the Lord moving & working. 

 I look forward to getting to know everyone in the church & getting involved.
